If you research further you will learn that Louis Kahn did NOT use pre-cast concrete in his buildings. This technique was not available then.typical concrete construction was cast in situ. This is rarely done today due to cost. Precast concrete is an acceptable equivalent for thre purposes of the major project.R.K.
